A Christian luxury wedding and portrait photographer based in Humboldt County, California. Inspired by my faith, I'm passionate about capturing your unique story while boldly proclaiming the hope and joy I have in Christ Jesus, my Savior. My desire is that you can sense Christ's deep love for you through the art of photography; that every image captured would be a reminder of how deeply love, cherished and accepted you are- just as you are.
Photographing your wedding, senior photos, family photos or maternity photos is not only my job- it's my JOY! Most days you might find me squealing with excitement behind my big camera! Such a great experience shooting with Bethany Joy Photography. She went out of her way to get the perfect photos. She really has an eye for the art form. We are so pleased with her final product and the way she captured my 14 year old dancer. If you are looking for a photographer to capture your dancer, child, production, or special moment, Bethany Joy Photography is the way to go. She captures the moments in a practical way, but also gives you beautiful works of art!
Her work is the best to say the least! I was a little nervous at first because I had never had professional pictures done but she made it so easy and comfortable. She knew exactly how to tell me to pose or do different movements, and she made sure I was comfortable with everything. I lovee the results of the photos. 10/10 recommend :))

Getting our photos taken with Bethany was amazing! We had a short amount of time to get it done before sunset and she was lightning fast. Despite our time crunch, she made us feel at ease and she still got hundreds of beautiful shots (and they were all different!) We were so happy with the results. We felt romantic and beautiful and were blown away by the cinematic quality of the photos!

Bethany took mommy and me/maternity pictures for me. They are the most beautiful pictures, and I cherish them. I do not consider myself a photogenic person, but she made me feel so comfortable and somehow guided the experience so that the pictures turned out so natural and candid looking. She captured my 13 month old’s personality and beautiful smiles so well. I can’t say enough good things about her skills. You should definitely have her take your pictures!!
