Growing up in Humboldt County, I developed a deep appreciation for beauty. I would sit on the edge of my couch for hours watching the many gathered robins search for worms outside, admiring God's creation. I'd often bike to Clam Beach and I would sit until the sun set on the beach listening to the crashing waves and watching the seagulls fly by, in awe of God's wonder. I'd inhale the biggest breath I could as I walked through the Redwood Forest and soak in all the majestic sights and smells as I breathed in God's goodness in my life.
As a young Christian, I discovered my identity as a creative artist and committed to always thank the Lord for being the Master Designer. From the age of nine, I began using my mother's DSLR camera, and every birthday and Christmas I'd ask for film. I worked hard babysitting mostly to have the funds to be able to develop the film! To me, photography transcends mere images-it captures memories and feelings.
When I'm not behind the camera, you might find me taking walks with my husband and four children, watercoloring next to a lit candle, in a blanket with a fresh cup of chai, or learning a new skill through YouTube tutorials. Most mportantly, I cherish the people in my life and love to soak in moments, conversations, and time with my family.
At the heart of my business, a philosophy developed when I was young, I believe in proclaiming God's love in all I do, desiring to bring Him all the glory.
